Refund Policy

This policy explains how trials, renewals, cancellation and refunds work on HuntingHydra. It applies alongside our Terms of Service.
1. The free trial
Subscriptions start with a free trial, three days at the time of writing. The exact length is shown at checkout before you confirm anything.
We collect your payment details when the trial starts, and the first payment is taken when the trial ends. If you cancel before it ends, you are not charged at all.
2. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, with no fee and without asking us. Open the Account window in your workspace and use the billing link, which opens your subscription at Paddle, or email and we will do it for you.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not pro-rate part of a month.
3. Refunds on subscriptions
If you have been charged and you are not happy, email within 14 days of the payment and we will refund it in full. You do not have to give a reason, and this covers a renewal you did not expect as much as a first payment.
Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with, through Paddle, and usually take a few business days to appear.
4. One-off purchases and services
- Marketplace purchases follow the same rule: 14 days from the payment, refunded in full on request.
- Fixed-fee work such as an audit or a sprint is refundable in full any time before the work starts. Once it has been delivered it is not refundable, because the thing you bought is the work and it has been done.
- If we cannot deliver something you have paid for, you get all of it back. That is not at our discretion.
5. Your rights under local law
Nothing in this policy reduces rights you have under the consumer law where you live. In the EU and the UK that includes a right to withdraw from a distance purchase within a set period. Where your local rights give you more than this page offers, your local rights apply.
6. Paddle is the seller of record
Payments on HuntingHydra are processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record. Paddle handles the transaction and any sales tax or VAT, issues your receipt, and processes refunds, so their buyer terms apply to the purchase alongside this policy. Your card details are handled by Paddle and never reach our servers.
7. Before you raise a chargeback
If a charge looks wrong, email us first. We would rather refund you in a day than argue about it: a chargeback suspends the account while your bank investigates, which helps nobody and takes considerably longer than asking.
