THE BROKEN-LAYER AUDIT · 72 HOURS

One layer is killing your growth.
The audit names it in 72 hours.

Positioning, product, or findability. From the inside all three look like flat growth, so founders fix the wrong one. The audit names the broken layer, shows the evidence, and hands you the fix plan.

THE_VERDICT

The verdict

Which layer is costing you growth right now: positioning, product, or findability. One answer, ranked, with the evidence behind it.

THE_TEARDOWN

The teardown

A written walkthrough of your homepage, your product’s first-run experience, and your search and AI-engine presence. What Google ranks you for, and what ChatGPT and Perplexity actually say when asked about your category and your name.

THE_FIX_PLAN

The fix plan

What to change, in what order, and, just as important, what to leave alone. Scoped so you can execute it yourself or hand it to anyone.

THE_CALL

A 45-minute call

A walkthrough of everything in the doc, and answers to everything it raises.

A straight promise. If we can't find anything materially broken, we'll tell you that, and you pay nothing. We'd rather lose $500 than pad a report.

SEO_AUDIT.md

Looking for an SEO audit? That's the findability layer.

The audit includes a full SEO and website audit. What Google can crawl, what you rank for and why, which pages target queries nobody types, schema, internal links, and the technical layer. And because buying decisions now start in AI answers, we also record what ChatGPT and Perplexity say when someone asks about your category and your name. Most SEO audit services skip that entirely.

The difference is we refuse to stop there. If your positioning is broken, perfect SEO ranks you for queries that convert nobody, and a clean technical report sends you off fixing the wrong layer. So the SEO teardown arrives inside a verdict on all three layers, and you find out whether search was ever the real problem.

Technical crawl

What Google can reach, what it has indexed, page speed, and the errors that quietly block ranking.

How the SEO sprint fixes this

Rankings reality

What you rank for today, what your domain can realistically win, and which pages target queries nobody types.

On-page and schema

Titles, intent match per page, internal links, and the structured data machines actually parse.

Answer engine optimization

AI-engine visibility

What ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews answer when buyers ask about your category, and who they cite instead of you.

Generative engine optimization

Authority check

Your backlink profile as the engines score it, and what that score lets you compete for.

The upstream check

Whether positioning or product is capping everything search could bring. No SEO audit service checks this. We always do.

Three things from you

  • Access to your homepage and product. A trial account is fine.
  • Your analytics, read-only, if you have them.
  • One paragraph on what you think is wrong.

AFTER_THE_AUDIT.md

If you want the fix done for you

Most founders take the plan and run it themselves. That's a fine outcome; the audit is built to stand alone. The decision is yours.

If you want it executed, that's a sprint. We fix the broken layer, start to finish. Repositioning, product UX rebuild, or a search and GEO foundation. $5,000 flat, two weeks, whichever layer it is, scoped in writing before anything starts. Your $500 audit is credited in full.

One project at a time. If we're mid-sprint, you'll get a start date.

FAQ.md

How do you decide which layer is broken?

We tear down three things: your homepage argument, your product’s first-run experience, and what Google, ChatGPT, and Perplexity return for your category and your name. Each finding sits next to its evidence, and the verdict names the layer the evidence clusters on. If nothing is materially broken, we say that and you pay nothing.

Is this AI-generated analysis?

AI is used for speed, the same way you built your product. The verdict, the evidence, and the call come from the founders. You’ll be able to tell within the first page.

What if I already know what’s broken?

Then the audit confirms it in 72 hours, cheap insurance before you spend a quarter fixing it. And if you’re wrong, it just saved you a month of fixing the healthy head. From the inside, every head looks like the problem.

Is this an SEO audit?

Findability is one third of it. The audit also covers positioning and the product experience itself, because flat growth usually traces back to one of those two, and an SEO-only report would send you off fixing the wrong layer.

Can you just do the whole thing: positioning, product, and SEO?

One layer at a time, always. The audit ranks what it finds, the sprint fixes the most damaging layer first, and fixing upstream often heals downstream. If you want to commit upfront, the full course is $13,500: every broken layer, fixed in order, audit included.
