SaaS SEO / Consulting
SaaS SEO consultant, without the hourly meter
You are looking for a consultant because agencies gave you juniors and retainers gave you decks. Fair. Here is the consultant-grade alternative: two founders who diagnose your organic channel in 48 hours and ship the fix in a two-week fixed-scope sprint.

What you actually need from a consultant
Strip the title away and a SaaS SEO consultant sells judgment: which queries are yours, what page architecture wins them, what to build first, and what to ignore. The good ones also ship. The failure mode of consulting is a beautiful diagnosis followed by a handoff to nobody.
- Diagnosis: why organic underperforms, in causal terms, not symptoms.
- Architecture: the keyword-to-page map your team executes against for a year.
- Prioritization: the three things that matter now, and the ten that do not.
- Transfer: documentation your team can run without paying rent on the relationship.
Consultant vs agency vs us
Independent consultant
Senior judgment, $100 to $300 per hour or $3,000 to $10,000 per month. Strength: no pyramid, you get the person you hired. Weakness: usually stops at strategy, and hourly billing rewards long engagements.
Agency retainer
$3,000 to $15,000 per month, 6 to 12 month commitments. Strength: execution capacity. Weakness: the senior who sold you is rarely the one working, and retainers optimize for continuation, not completion.
The sprint model (ours)
$1,000 written diagnosis in 48 hours, then a $5,000 fixed-scope two-week sprint where the same two founders who diagnosed the channel build the keyword map, architecture, and technical foundation. Documented handoff at the end. Retainer optional, $1,500 to $3,000 per month, only if you want ongoing execution.
The audit fee credits fully toward the sprint within 90 days. You are never paying for the pitch.
Questions to ask anyone you shortlist (including us)
- Show me a keyword architecture you built and what happened in the following two quarters.
- How do you decide a keyword is winnable? (Correct answers read the SERP; wrong answers quote a difficulty score.)
- Who does the work, by name?
- What happens when my positioning is the real problem? (We pause the SEO and say so. Ranking for the wrong queries is worse than not ranking.)
- What does the handoff look like when we stop paying you?
Our answers are on this site in public: the full methodology, the before/after work, and the exact skills we run, sold for $29 so you can audit our process before hiring it.
Fit, stated plainly
We work with B2B SaaS, AI platforms, and startups between $1M and $10M ARR that built fast and got stuck on visibility, messaging, or channel. Pre-revenue founders: use the marketplace skills, they are the same process at $29. Series A+ with an in-house SEO team: you likely need capacity, not diagnosis, and an agency serves you better. This filter is why the engagements we do take work.
Questions, answered
Diagnoses why your organic channel underperforms and prescribes the fix: keyword and intent architecture, page structure, content priorities, technical cleanup, and the measurement loop. A good consultant hands you a plan your team can execute; a great one also ships the foundational pieces.
Diagnosis first. 48 hours, $1,000, credits toward the fix.
Send your URL. Two founders return a written report: your top 3 gaps across SEO, positioning, copy, GEO, GTM, and UX, and exactly what to fix.
